Digital audio amplifier with universal inputs
Svadbík, Pavel ; Stifter,, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with digital audio amplifier with universal inputs and its design. The first part describes modulation and audio formats for audio electronics. The thesis contain design of a block diagram of the digital audio amplifier and describes the requirements for functional blocks. As a basic device for audio signal processing was choosen integrated circuit STA326. The thesis continue with circuits design for each blocks with a description of their principles. The next section describes the construction and firmware for microcontroller. The last part of this diploma thesis is targeted on the presentation of the measured parameters of the amplifier. The conclusion summarizes the results that have been achieved and advantages and disadvantages of the digital audio amplifier prototype.
HiFi DA Converter with Integrated Headphone Amplifier
Doležal, Pavel ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with a design and fabrication of D/A coverter and headphone amplifier for stereo reproduction in Hi-Fi class. In opening chapter, overall problematics of digital audio signal distribution is discussed. Following chapters are dedicated to converter design, communication protocols, component selection, converter production, circuitry design and firmware programming. The final chapter is dealing with expansion options such as HDMI inputs and surround sound.
Design of Input Stage for Bi-Amp Loudspeaker System
Ryšavý, Jindřich ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis discuss the desing of active crossover for loudspeaker systems. There are described two most common topologies forming active filters and their comparison. Also is there shown way how to desing transfer functions to achieve flat overall transmission, then computing components bases on topology. All that is shown on example. Then are discussed different ways how to correctly receive analog or digital sound signal and handle with them. Example desing is then shown.
Design and Implementation of Active Loudspeaker System with Digital Input
Uchytil, Filip ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on a design of an active loudspeaker system with a bi-amp amplifier and a digital input. There is described the theory of a loudspeaker enclosure design and its practical implementation. Furthermore the work deals with a design and construction of input circuits such as a preamplifier, Baxandall tone control, active crossover, all-pass filter and S/PDIF. On the basis of the amplifier´s theory the optimal construction of amplifiers and their design are selected. The complex design of the loudspeaker box is devised so that it would reach a maximum acoustic power during the preservation of a low distortion.
Input Circuits for Bi-Amp Loudspeaker System
Hanák, Filip ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The work focuses on the design input circuits for active speaker system. There is described the theory design input circuits such as attenuator pads, low pass filter, preamplifier, Baxandall tone control and S / PDIF. Based on the theory described are selected optimal designs and their subsequent draft. Complex design of the input circuit for loudspeaker system is designed to achieve a low acoustic distortion sound.
Control unit for DSP and audio signal distribution to active external loudspeakers
Šerík, Martin ; Ing. Jiří Stifter, Ph.D., FEL ZČU v Plzni (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The paper deals with analysis of the problems of digital signal processing and with design of the control unit for DSP and audio signal distribution to active external loudspeakers. It describes function of delta-sigma AD converters, the most widely used digital filters and Fast Fourier Transform. The processed signal will be send to external loudspeakers using an Ethernet interface. The paper also covers the design of signal processing unit's hardware and software. Achieved functions and parameters of the unit are discussed in conclusion.
Stereo microphone preamplifier with integrated ADC
Tóth, Péter ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
he aim of this work is to design a mobile microphone preaplifier with integrated ADC suitable for in field work. In the intruduction a general overwiev is presented about the history of sound recording and it also deals with the parameters of the devices designed in this work. In the next chapter the contruction of each module is described.
Implementation of the I2S Driver into the Freescale MQX RTOS
Možný, Karel ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and development of a I2S module driver for real-time operating system MQX running on a ColdFire V4 architecture based processor. Further there are presented circuit diagrams and PCBs created for testing of functions and properties of the driver. Signal input is a digital audio in form of S/PDIF interface, output is an analogue signal, that can be listened by the means of a headphone amplifier. The conclusion describes a sample application demonstrating function of the driver on developed hardware.
Processing of digital signals from interferometer
Trličík, Jakub ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Abstract This bachelor thesis deals with the S/PDIF digital signal processing from interferometer Polytec OFV-5000, by measurement application created in LabVIEW. This paper describes the theory of laser vibration measurement and encoding S/PDIF digital signal. Text also introduces a Polytec system for vibration measurement and system for data acquisition by National Instruments. The following is a description of the created measurement application, divided into three parts: decoding an S/PDIF, acquisition and display of digital data and acquisition and display of analog data to compare with digital output. In the last part of the thesis are presented the results of comparing analog and digital output, and an evaluation of the achieved results.
